Week of September 9 th

Welcome back from our unexpected break. I hope everyone was safe as well as your homes. We have started a fresh week with the hopes of continuing things as normal. The students did really well today getting back in routine. I am proud of them.

In math we are continuing to work on counting money and making change. Please allow your child to use change or purchase small items as the store to practice this important skill. Actual “real life” experiences are very valuable along with what they are doing in class. Our Reading story is on penguins and Antarctica which goes perfectly with our study of ecosystems and habitats in science. They are really enjoying this unit.

Conference appointments will go home sometimes this week. They will be stapled in your childs agenda.
